To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the longest running TV sci-fi show, we will be holding a series of screenings throughout November in our private onsite 4k cinema, which will only be exclusively available for staying guests.
Not only that, you will also get a chance to have a photo with our very own full size replica police box, situated in a great picturesque spot on the opposite side of our wildlife lake, PLUS a selfie with your favourite Doctor too! (Well, a life size photo cut out at least!)

Doctor Who is the world’s longest running and most successful sci-fi TV series in history.
Dr Who was first broadcast on BBC1 Sat 23rd November 1963, with the first Doctor, played by the late William Hartnell, ably assisted by his grand-daughter Susan (Carole Ann Ford) and school teachers Barbara Wright (Jacqueline Hill) and Ian Chesterton (William Russell). Since stumbling upon the TARDIS (which is an acronym for Time and Relative Dimension in Space) in a junk yard, three generations of TV audience has been catapulted headlong into a whirlwind of adventures in space and time that have spanned 60 years and been seen in over 90 countries worldwide.
Since that opening episode there have been 15 different incarnations of the good Doctor, featuring in over 860 episodes, with Ncuti Gatwa taking up the controls of the famous police box as the latest persona of the Time Lord in the New Year.

PETER CUSHING took over the Tardis controls for two big screen feature films in the 1960s, ‘Dr Who & the Daleks’ (1965) and ‘Daleks’ Invasion Earth 2150AD (1966). There have also been ‘alternative’ incarnations, namely JOHN HURT as the ‘War Doctor’ in the 50th anniverary special ‘The Day of the Doctor’ (2013) and Jo Martin as the ‘Fugitive Doctor’, who popped up in a couple of episodes (2020-22).
Other actors have stepped into the shoes of WILLIAM HARTNELL as the first Doctor. RICHARD HURNDELL, in the 20th anniversary story ‘The Five Doctors’ (1983) and mostly notebly DAVID BRADLEY, who starred as Hartnell in Mark Gatiss’s drama ‘An Adventure in Space and Time’ (2013), reprising the role in three epsiodes (2017,2022).
